Our most popular boat of the 1990's, the 21' River Tunnel was born of the need to train our water ski racers offshore. The idea was to build a boat that was efficient, soft riding, great in rough water, and could be run every week of the year in the grueling Pacific Ocean. More freeboard than the River Cruiser, slot tunnels to cushion the ride, a tick of air pack for efficiency, and Bingo, the RT was born. While the early ones logged weekly round trips to Catalina, we soon realized that she would be the perfect lake sterndrive cruiser. Within a year of the first sterndrive, she was our most popular boat for all the same reasons she made a great ocean trainer: Good depth, efficient, soft riding, and great ski-ability.
